Integrations - Marketing automation built around purchases

Connect catalogue data, orders and customer preferences to useful follow-up campaigns. Email, SMS and push are separate channels with their own enrolment and stop conditions.

Example workflow

A customer leaves a cart → wait for the agreed interval → check whether they purchased and may receive the message → send a reminder. A completed purchase stops the sequence. Replenishment campaigns use the purchased product and an appropriate interval instead of one offer for the entire list.

The role of each tool

Klaviyo

Purchase-based segments, post-purchase messages, VIP groups and replenishment reminders. Validate browse, cart and purchase events and catalogue matching; include additional channels and predictive features only where the chosen account supports them.

Mailchimp

Subscription forms, tags, product campaigns and order context. Preserve unsubscribes and agreed fields when moving a list; check automation capabilities against the plan instead of promising identical functionality for every account.

ActiveCampaign

Sequences that branch according to purchases and customer responses. Define entry, conditions and exit for each automation so a profile does not enter conflicting campaigns.

Omnisend

Cart and order communication through email and, where applicable, SMS. Agree channel precedence and overall contact frequency; a phone number on an order is not automatic enrolment in an SMS campaign.

Drip

Lifecycle campaigns for first purchases, repeat orders and reactivation after inactivity. Use product and engagement history and stop a sequence when its goal is reached.

OneSignal — web push

A separate opt-in push channel for back-in-stock alerts or timely short messages. Associate the subscription with the right context and test opting out; this is not a replacement for the email platform.

What implementation includes

  1. A map of profiles, orders, products and marketing preferences, including available migration history.
  2. Segments and sequences for first purchases, abandoned carts and customer reactivation.
  3. Tests for unsubscribing, completed purchases and frequency limits before activation.

Questions about this workflow

What moves from the previous marketing platform?

Profiles, agreed fields, tags and available preference history. Unsubscribed addresses stay excluded. Existing sequences are reviewed and rebuilt around the capabilities of the new system.

When does an abandoned-cart reminder stop?

Define the purchase stop event and test cart changes and unsubscribes. Include a customer who buys before the next scheduled message.
